The record about the record-keepers
The fine print
Minutes should be readable, including these. This page merges our affiliate disclosure, privacy notes, editorial disclaimer and terms of use. If any of it seems designed to hide the ball, write to [email protected] and we'll plain-language it further.
Affiliate disclosure
MinuteHand earns money through affiliate links. As of the date above, we have or are establishing affiliate relationships with Krisp, Fireflies.ai, and Fathom: if you click a marked link to one of these vendors and later subscribe, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. These links are visually presented as buttons or marked "sponsored," carry rel="sponsored nofollow", and sit next to an inline disclosure on the page where they appear. We link Otter.ai and various free options plainly, with no affiliate relationship and no compensation of any kind.
What the money does not buy: our scores are computed by a published rubric (tools/score.py — see method); vendors receive no preview of coverage, purchase no placement, and cannot pay to change a number. If a relationship ever compromises a page, the page goes, not the policy.
Editorial disclaimer
We describe software vendors' products based on their public documentation, checked on the dates stamped per page. We do not run laboratory tests and we do not publish accuracy percentages. Vendors change prices, limits and features without notifying editorial desks anywhere — where our tables and a vendor's checkout disagree, the checkout is right, and we'd appreciate the correction. Nothing here is professional advice of any kind. In particular, our consent and recording-etiquette guide is practical orientation, not legal advice; recording laws vary by jurisdiction and change, and decisions with legal consequences belong with qualified counsel.
Privacy
We run this site with the same appetite for your data that we'd want note-taker vendors to have for your meetings: minimal.
- No accounts, no forms. The site is static pages. We don't collect names, emails or payments here.
- Analytics. Visit counts come from our CDN, Cloudflare, as anonymous aggregates without cookies, so we can see which pages earn their keep. If you block it with your browser or an extension, everything here still works, and we cheer you on.
- Outbound links. When you leave for a vendor's site — affiliate-linked or not — that vendor's privacy policy takes over. Affiliate networks may set cookies to attribute a purchase to our link; that's the mechanism the disclosure above describes.
- Email. If you write to [email protected], we keep the correspondence to answer it and delete it when it's stale. We don't build lists from it.
Terms of use
- Content is ours. Text and original graphics on bestaimeetingnotetakers.com are © MinuteHand. Quote with attribution and a link; don't republish wholesale. Vendor names and logos belong to their owners; their appearance here is reference, not endorsement in either direction.
- Provided as-is. We work to keep everything accurate as of its stamp date, and we make no warranty that any page is error-free or current the day you read it. To the extent the law allows, MinuteHand isn't liable for decisions made on the basis of this site — including subscriptions bought, meetings recorded, or minutes mistrusted.
- Your responsibilities travel with you. Using recording software lawfully — consent, notification, company policy — is on you, wherever you are. Our etiquette guide helps; it doesn't substitute for local rules.
- Changes. When we revise this page, the date at the top moves. No archaeology required.
Corrections policy
Substantive errors get fixed in the text with the page's check-date updated; we don't silently rewrite history on matters of fact. The fastest route: email [email protected] with a link to the vendor page proving us stale. Sincerely: thank you.
